Positive Attitude

Dear all,

I am overwhelmed by the encouragements and prayers I have received the past weeks from everybody - relatives (local/international), apos from cousins, high school, college, business colleagues, prayer communities, neighbors, our parish organizations, etc.  Now that there is a blog station, I and Olive and technical son, Ryan, can update you on whats the latest with me.

The usual big question which  I get is :  What do you feel?  May pain ka ba?

Ang sagot: May inconvenience sa right pelvic area because I cant spread my legs wide open because of the small fracture in the pubic bone. Usually when getting in and out of the car.  Kailangan I have to go out like a lady wearing a mini tight skirt.  Legs together.  I have no pain and no dificulty in breathing. I still do my dumbells to manintain my piolo pascual upper body and arms. Following the otrho doc, I walked with a cane to protect the healing fracture and to keep away crowd and fans bumping into me.  At mukhang kagalang galang, parang sila Marcelo del Pilar at Juan Luna ng nasa Europe.

My weight of 162 is maintained and appetite is great.  Will be missing sweets like cakes and ice cream.  Dadami na ang tsonggo sa bahay dahil malakas ako sa saging.  Yun na ang merienda ko.-ernie

  1. So mahinhin ka na ngayon tulad ko Esto? Bagay ba naman?

I hate bananas! Sige, dalhan kita ng sangkatutak na saguing pagdating ko. Palitan mo lang ng cake and ice cream ha.

I have a friend here in Vancouver who cares for her husband who is now a survivor. She prepares him a cocktail of fruits and vegetables daily that has been prescribed. Are you interested?

YOU make us laugh... when we should be doing that to you.

  2. Ernie, first and foremost, hope that you are coping with your present state of mind and at the same time that the good Lord bless and keep you strong to surpass these challenges.

We, your schoolmates have just been informed by Ante of your present state. Please rest assured that we will be praying for for your complete recovery and back to the family you love.

I too, am a banana man, matagal nang madaming tsonggo dito sa bahay. I normally have two or three of them which helps prevent leg cramps in the middle of the night.

  4. Hi, Ernie!

I'm coming in late because I heard about your medical condition (hushed tones) just yesterday. Don't worry, I won't ask any formula questions; I'm sure you've put on about 3 pounds just absorbing them.

BUT, I am curious about a few things.
    1. Bakit ka may lamat sa pubic bone mo?
    2. Since this makes it hard for you to spread your legs, is this how the fracture came about in the first place? Why, did you ride an elephant?
    3. Do you have a secret life or are you a super fan of Olive? That's probably why you know how mini-clad women get off a car.
    4. Bakit dadami ang chonggo sa bahay mo? Bibisita ba ang isang tropang kamag-anak?

Anyway, my friend, keep up the positive attitude and humor. These two are the biggest body defense boosters you'll ever get.

Oh, one more thing: Can't you get a blog sheet in English?
